BIOGRAPHY
CLARE
HIGGINS has won no less than three Olivier Awards for Best Actress for
her performances in Hecuba at the Donmar Warehouse (2004), Vincent
in Brixton (2003) and Sweet Bird of Youth (1994) both at the
National Theatre.
For her performance in Vincent in Brixton, she also won a Tony Award
for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a play, a Best Actress award
from the London Critics Circle and the Evening Standard and nominations for
Outstanding Actress from both the Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk.
Clare has also appeared in numerous TV and film roles including Midsommer
Murders, Casanova, The Libertine and Stage Beauty.
