BIOGRAPHY
JOYCE NETTLES was Head of Casting at the RSC for 10 years under the Artistic
Directorship of Trevor Nunn. She cast most of Jonathan Kent's productions
whilst he was Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre; has worked with
Peters Hall, Brook and Stein; and is the Casting Director at the Old Vic
Theatre. Her television credits include episodes of Kavanagh QC and
Inspector Morse; several series of The Midsomer Murders and Foyle's War; the
award-winning Goodnight Mister Tom; BBC's 2005 flagship production of
William Golding's To the Ends of the Earth; and several films for HBO,
including RKO 281 for which she won an Emmy. Her films credits include
Zeffirelli's Hamlet and several films with Lars von Trier, including
Breaking the Waves.
